United Fresh chooses outstanding industry award recipients

The United Fresh Produce Association has chosen the five industry members who will be recognized for their outstanding work in sharing their expertise. The new awards, to be given at the United Fresh Convention & Expo June 10-12 in Chicago, recognize industry members in five categories represented by the group’s Expert Advisory Councils, according to a news release.

Greens grower-processor WP Rawl, Pelion, S.C., is turning over a new leaf with a packaging update. The company plans to unveil the new bags at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure event March 7-9 in Orlando, Fla., according to a news release.
