the benefits of adding
greens in your diet.

  • Eating leafy greens is a wonderful way to detox your body, improve liver function, boost your immunity and fight diseases by reducing inflammation!

  • You should eat leafy greens at least 2-3 times per week and servings should be at least 1.5 cups each time.

  • For optimal health, increase to 4-5 times per week and increase it to 2 cups

  • Lactose intolerant or just don't like milk? Kale has 150 mg of calcium for every 100

  • Mustard greens (and leafy greens in general) help protect you from cancer due to two glucosinolates: sinigrin and gluconasturtiian

  • Embrace the bitterness! Turnip greens are this way because of their high calcium content.

  • Collard greens have a wonderful cholesterol-lowering ability. Collards are the best at binding bile acids in the digestive tract, making it easier for your body to get rid of acids.

  • Kale is chockfull of Vitamin K, which is great for bone and heart health.
