WP Rawl Sponsors Wreaths Across America Events in South Carolina

PELION, SC - Holiday spirit is in the air, and it’s heartwarming to see those in the produce industry give back to their communities. For WP Rawl, this meant being a major sponsor of two annual wreath-laying ceremonies honoring fallen United States veterans on National Wreaths Across America Day.

Midlands company sponsors two Wreaths Across America events in SC

A local family-owned farm is the only Midlands-based employer to become a major sponsor of two annual wreath-laying ceremonies honoring America’s fallen service members at National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, Dec. 17. Lexington County-based produce company WP Rawl will send three of its tractor-trailers to Maine in the coming week, with company-employed military veterans at the wheel. Each trailer will pick up 6,000 handmade wreaths and deliver them to Fort Jackson National Cemetery and Beaufort National Cemetery for ceremonies at noon on Dec. 17. Community volunteers at the two locations will lay a wreath on each grave marker: approximately 15,000 at Fort Jackson and more than 21,000 at Beaufort.
