Walter P. Rawl & Sons, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or our) takes the privacy of our Website users’ personal information seriously, and we are committed to protecting your personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy covers how the Company addresses and safeguards personally identifiable information that is collected and received at the Company Website (the "Website") which includes https//www.rawl.net and any successor pages thereto, and other related websites owned or operated by the Company.

Please be aware that the Company may update this Privacy Policy. If we do, we will notify Website users about significant changes by placing a prominent notice on the the initial page of this Privacy Policy. 1. WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS

1.1. The Company collects some information about our Website users to help us to improve the Website, and improve our products and services. As discussed below, the type of information we collect, and our use of that information, will vary depending upon the user’s level of interaction with the Website.

1.2. This Privacy Policy does not cover how the Company treats personally identifiable information that it obtains from other sources, such as offline sources or through email communications. This Privacy Policy also does not apply to the practices of companies that the Company does not own or control, or to people or entities that the Company does not employ or manage.

2. WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND HOW IT IS USED

2.1. When users visit the Website, they are not anonymous. The Company’s purpose in collecting this information is to better understand how visitors to the Website use the Website, thereby improving users’ experiences.

The Company is not in the business of selling personal information users provide on this Website to other people or companies unaffiliated with WP Rawl & Sons, Inc. The Company does share user information to provide products or services users have requested, when we have that user’s permission, and under the following circumstances:

  • Trusted Partners. We provide information to trusted partners who work on our behalf or with the Company under confidentiality agreements. These companies may utilize users’ personal information to help the Company communicate with those users about us. Examples of such instances include receiving a user’s Customer Relations question or comment, sending and capturing survey questions and data or receiving an employment applicant's resume, application or other job related information or attachment. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

  • Legal Matters. We may share a user’s information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement agencies or officials, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We may share user information if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to physical safety of any person, violations of the Company’s Website Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law.

5. CHILDREN

This Website is intended for adult users and the Company does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone who has not reached the age of majority in the state or country in which he or she resides, nor does the Company intentionally allow anyone who has not reached the age of majority in the state in which he or she resides to register as a member or submit content for publication on this Website. Thus, the Company strongly encourages parents to play an active role in their child's online activity.
