On Aug. 21, leafy greens grower, processor and shipper WP Rawl will be in the path of the total solar eclipse.
“Since this total eclipse could be a once-in-a-lifetime event for some of our employees, we are stopping all production for the company and holding an eclipse viewing party Monday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.,” Ashley Rawl, vice president of sales, marketing and product development, said in a news release. “We are supplying all employees with special WP Rawl-branded viewing glasses and other special treats they can enjoy while mingling with their co-workers and enjoy the phenomenon.”
